In conjunction with the national requirements as established by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA), the HRIA is required to perform annual audits on member recertification applications. As stated in the National CHRP Recertification Log, audits are conducted to ensure the integrity and standard of professionalism reflected in the granting of the CHRP designation. It is important to retain your supporting documentation for two years after submitting a recertification application. You will be notified by mail if selected for CHRP recertification Audit. For more information on how the recertification audits are conducted, please check the CHRP Recertification Audit Tidbits.
Examples of recertification audit support documentation are available here.
