Results are released approximately eight weeks after each exam session as this includes the time needed to receive all exam packages, verify that all exam documents have been returned, and process and score the exams. The Exam providers then review the results for non-functioning items as necessary, and finally the results are returned to the CCHRA.  The CCHRA will then forward results to each provincial association so that they can notify writers in their provinces of their results.

The HRIA will upload exam results approximately eight weeks after each exam session.  The exam results and the breakdown of the final grade will be available to each writer through their Member Profile.  The HRIA will notify exam writers via email when their grades are available online.

Summary of  October 2011 NKE Results

Overall, NKE writers in Alberta performed better than exam writers across Canada, with an Alberta pass rate of 62% compared to the national pass rate of 58%.  The Alberta average score was 66%, with the highest Alberta score being 85%.

Summary of May 2011 NPPA Results

Alberta NPPA writers performed better than national writers, with an Alberta pass rate of 88% compared to 85% nationally.  The average score in Alberta was 70%, with the highest Alberta score being 90%.
