Scholarships & Bursaries

HRIA is proud to support several annual scholarships and bursaries throughout the province. The size of the award, nature and terms of reference vary from school to school. The following are current awards at the following post secondary institutions across Alberta:

Post-Secondary Partnerships

HRIA supports teams from the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary to participate in the National Excalibur, a Canadian university tournament in human resources, and in the JDC West competition, a western Canada business case competition.

In addition, HRIA provides sponsorship of post secondary events/initiatives throughout the province. Examples range from the University of Lethbridge’s annual Etiquette Dinner connecting industry/business professionals with students in the School of Business to the University of Alberta Human Resources and Management Association’s annual Student Conference. The nature of these types of support varies from school to school.
