NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the membership of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Telus Convention Centre, Calgary.

AGM & Keynote:  8:00 am - 11:30 am
 
Join the HRIA Board for our Annual General Meeting and keynote address with:

  Policy manuals and laminated ethic statements on the wall don't inspire people - actions do. Those who stand solidly on their principles, place a higher value on conduct than platitudes, and choose service over self-interest are the real leaders in our profession today. They have strong character, and to lead with character you don't need a title. How is our profession leading with character?  Join us for an engaging conversation about doing what's right for the right reason.

The AGM is open to all HRIA members and everyone is encouraged to attend.  All information pertaining to the AGM is posted on the website including the meeting agenda, 2012 Annual Report and Financial Statements, and Candidate Biographies for the 2013 Election.

• Receive the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2012 and the auditor's report thereon;
• Appoint auditors for 2013;
• Announce the election results of incoming board members; and
• Transact such other business as may properly come before the Meeting or any adjournment thereof;
• Attending the session is a free professional development opportunity that qualifies for 1
  Re-certification point
