Professional Development Overview
To fulfill our mandate of “Advancing Excellence in Human Resources”, the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) promotes and encourages our members to pursue lifelong learning in the field of HR. Through our professional development program, the HRIA is providing the avenue to share expertise and experience. The intent of the program is to keep our members and the HR community proactively informed about ever-changing practices within our industry. To assist in maintaining or achieving CHRP accreditation, the program follows the Required Professional Capabilities set out by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations. Our program is comprised of a variety of learning opportunities including workshops, seminars, lunch & learn sessions, and networking events.
