ENHANCE YOUR LEARNING PRIOR TO THE NATIONAL KNOWLEDGE EXAM ^®:
AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENROLL IN A ONE-DAY REVIEW WORKSHOP!

HRIA offers a one-day review workshop to individuals registered to write the National Knowledge Exam ^® (NKE).  An experienced HR Practitioner who teaches Human Resource Management at a post-secondary institution has developed this program.

A review of the feedback from past exam writers shows that it is highly recommended that  members use more than one method of preparation in order to be more succesfull on the NKE exam.

WHAT?

• Content tied to the “Required Professional Capabilities” that will be examined and material applicable to each area.
• Overview of other sources of information that can be used to assist in preparing for the exam.
• Review of the exam structure, timing, requirements, etc.
• Samples of multiple-choice questions; an opportunity to practice responding to questions related to topics within each Required Professional Competency.
• Review of exam writing techniques and tips for success.
• Opportunity to network with other people and form study groups.  

WHEN? 

• Workshops are held twice each year before both NKE exam sessions- normally in March and August. 
• For the Fall 2010 Exam, the NKE Workshops will be held on August 21 and August 28, 2010.

REGISTRATION (online only)  

• Registration for the August 2010 Workshops is now closed.  We will notify all Associate Members via email to notify them when registration opens for the next NKE Workshops.   

 DEADLINES

• The deadline to register for the NKE Workshops is always the same as the Exam Registration Deadline. 

 WHERE?

• Workshops are offered in Calgary and Edmonton.
•  Venues: Mount Royal University and Concordia University College.
  

COST?

• $350.00 + GST = $367.50 per person
• This fee is non-refundable.

The program fee includes materials, lunch and refreshments.
