 Collaboration: Progress Check
The Collaboration Implementation Team and the Staff at HRIA are working to make implementation a reality. What does that mean to you, the members? Here's a glimpse at just a few of the many tasks currently underway: - Combine member rosters in to one database managed centrally by HRIA - Contact new members to assist in creating online profiles and orient them to services available - re-design HRIA website to accomodate the transfer of regional content - create a web presence for CAHRMA - Create a cooperative plan to jointly deliver professional development and networking events - Develop a regional service agreement - Review respective association by-laws and address any need for changes Timeline for integrating member records into the central database: 1. Wood Bufalo and Peace Region -December 15, 2009 2. Central and Southern Alberta Regions - January 31, 2010 3. North Central Region - June 30, 2010
Having a member profile in the central database will allow those who are new to the HRIA to access new services: 1. Member discount for the 2010 Alberta HR Conference 2. Monthly online newsletter related to human resources - E-Source 3. Quarterly HR magazine - Network 4. HRIA Job Board 5. HRIA Member Directory
Through collaboration we will be able to collectively maximize our resources and deliver enhanced services for all members across the province, eliminate duplications, increase efficiency and introduce a single harmonized fee. This single harmonized fee is effective January 2010. Click here for details.
