The following awards demonstrate the value and appreciation the HRIA and the HR community have for their fellow practitioners: 

Rising Star Award

Awarded to an HRIA member in the first five years of his/her career who demonstrates great promise as a future leader in the Alberta HR community. Criteria and Nomination Form

Award of Excellence (2 - Individual and Team)

Awarded to an HRIA member (individual, group or team) who plays a key role in driving the performance and reputation of an organization, is a catalyst for organization-wide change, and serves as a trusted advisor on organizational strategy. Criteria and Nomination Form

Distinguished Career Award

Awarded to an HRIA member who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the Human Resources profession in Alberta. Criteria and Nomination Form

Strategic Innovator Award

The Strategic Innovator Award is granted to an HRIA member (individual or team) in recognition of their commitment to finding new, innovative approaches to demonstrate the value of HR as a strategic business partner in their organization Criteria and Nomination Form

Community Champion Award

The Community Champion Award is granted to an individual HRIA member in recognition of their outstanding volunteer contributions to a non-profit or charitable organization within their community. Criteria and Nomination Form

Fellow CHRP (FCHRP)

The FCHRP is a prestigious title that aims to recognize the most exceptional CHRPs in Canada who have made outstanding contributions to the human resources profession and their communities. Criteria and Nomination Form
